The High Court has given directives to the National Intelligence Bureau for the destruction of cocaine worth millions of dollars.
Today, June 5, 2025, the Criminal Division of the High Court in Ghana have ruled and ordered the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) with immediate effect to totally tear down all seized cocaine in their possession.
In the last few months, numerous intelligence led operation by the security agency have led to arrest and seizure of illicit drugs being smuggled in or out of the country by drug traffickers.
To that effect, the High Court today, have instructed that, three hundred and fifty million worth of cocaine should be destroyed.
