The German Bundesliga is set to experience another wild-wolf attacker as VFL Wolfsburg completes a transfer deal for Swiss forward Alessio Besio on a permanent contract.
After an unimpressive 2025/26 campaign, VFL Wolfsburg under the management of head coach Tobias Strobl will seek to bolster their squad prior to the start of the new season.
With the acquisition of their new season, Alessio Besio from a German Bundesliga side FC Freiburg, Wolfsburg are laying down a solid foundation, while prepping ahead of another campaign.
The versatile Swiss international will seek to unleash his exceptional attacking talent in the upcoming seasons. With no limitations, Alessio Besio is touted as one of the young attacking threats, capable of playing on the wing.
Alessio Besio has penciled a four-year deal, which will keep him at the club from now until June 2030 – a move which will be completed in the next few hour once his medicals have been done.
