Claudio Ranieri appointed as new head coach of AS Roma until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Italian Serie-A side, AS Roma have made contacts with their former coach, Claudio Ranieri, 73, who had announced his retirement from the coaching business at the end of last season.
Claudio Ranieri after engaging in series of contract negotiations with AS Roma has agreed to be in charge of the coaching job available at the club until the rest of the 2024/25 season is exhausted.
Following inside reports, Ranieri in conversations with his personal lawyers had been impressed with the negotiations tabled before them by AS Roma and hence, as a former manager of the club, is now willing to boycott his retirement and resume work as the head coach of AS Roma.
In the last six hours, he has successfully traveled from the city of London to Italy in order to begin work as all formal contracts documents have been inked by Claudio Ranieri and his lawyers as the new head coach of AS Roma.
Meanwhile, Claudio Ranieri remains the fourth most successful coach in the English premier league to ever win the Premier League title in the last decade apart from Jurgen klopp who has won one, same as Antonio Conte with Chelsea and Pep winning the most in the said period.
The Italian Serie-A is one challenge Claudio Ranieri has tasted as a manager while managing clubs such as Cagliari and AS Roma in the league; he is back to AS Roma for his second stint.
