Aston Villa have presented their first initial bid to secure the services of Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund.
German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund have completely frown upon English premier league side, Aston Villa’s initial transfer proposal bid for their star, Donyell Malen which did not meet the asking price of Dortmund.
Nevertheless, Borussia are opened to any form of renegotiations if only Aston Villa are willing to present a bid worth the sum north of £16.6 million plus bonuses.
However, Aston Villa might be seeking to engage in renegotiations as their formal bid was £13.3 million hence, would only need to increase their bid by a little over £3 million for the deal to push through.
Borussia Dortmund have already indicated their stance as they willing to push out Donyell Malen only for a reasonable transfer fee.
Following the rejection of Aston Villa’s initial bid for Malen, the club is seeking to revamp their squad in order to accomplish their target for the season which is currently heading in the wrong directions as they are struggling to win games.
