Medina W are set to host mazembe W for the third round of group stage qualifying matches tonight.
After the Senegalese top flight women’s team, Medina Women FC had gained qualification into the group stages of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League 2025 tournament, they have failed to register a win and have only recorded losses in their first two games.
While, Mazembe Women FC have also recorded a win and a loss, having scored three goals and conceding three goals as well after two games played in Group A.
Tonight, November 15, 2024, at exactly GMT 17:00 pm, both team, Medina Women’s will be at their home grounds in Senegal to face their traveling opponent, Mazembe Women as their third round of match in Group A.
Medina Women as the home side would want to rely on the support of their home fans; as they seek to dodge any disappointing results and rather bag all three available points at the end of normal time.
Meanwhile, Mazembe women would be seeking to clutch their second win in their third qualifying games in order to boost their chances of qualifying into the next round of the tournament.
However, it is key to note that Medina women in their first two games have not scored any scored but have been walloped by their opponents by five goals. But then, the away side has proven n their last two games that they have goals in them as they have three players in the top goal scorers chart.
That is, Kanjinga, Marta, and Nkuandum have all registered one goal each including one assist each aggregating two goal contributions by the respective players in their first two games for Mazembe women FC.
