Chelsea and Ukrainian winger, Mykhailo Mudryk has been in the news for the bad reason as a drug test conducted on him turned out that, he has failed the anti-doping test hence, has been suspended temporarily suspended by the English Football Association.
The Ukrainian international with his club side are in anticipation of a negative drug test as they eagerly awaits the B sample which will determine the future of the forward in his professional football career.
Now, Mykhailo Mudryk has indicated that, he has no clue with regards to the turn-out of the drug test results and fortunately for him, Chelsea and Ukraine have also indicated their stance which clearly points to the fact that, the player is innocent.

The Ukrainian national team camp have reveal that, Mudryk might have ingested the wrongful substance into his blood stream through foods, citing instances were other sporting athletes in the tennis fraternity like Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek have been victims therefore, they are in support of Mudryk.
The explanation given by Chelsea FC:
Chelsea’s 23-year-old winger has been reported frustrated since the drug test conducted on him had shown that, he has completely failed his anti-doping test. Meanwhile, the Blues aren’t taking the outcome of the result lightly.
Plus, the London club believe that, Mudryk falling short in the drug test isn’t his doing or further claims that, the test result is highly wrong hence they are very positive that the results of the B sample will prove him not guilty.
Irrespective of inside reports pointing out that, Mudryk is fairly unhappy at the club as he is not bagging much playing time currently in the team yet, he is not relenting to impress Enzo Maresca during training and in every opportunity that befalls him during games.
As things stand, the hope of the winger picking up the pieces in the second half of the season is very uncertain; a decision as to whether Mudryk can move on with his plans to regain his position in the Chelsea set-up will only be determine when he surpasses the hurdle ahead of him, which is for him to test negative in the B sample.
