The City Football Group as administrators of some professional clubs in association football have made a decision to sign arguably one of the best youngsters from Colombia for an amount worth $3 million.
After experienced scouts from the group were sent to have a first hand study of the potential great winger to hit the European football industry, the scouts have advised the City Football Group to secure the signature of the Colombian under-20 right attacking winger.
Further, the City Football Group were successful in signing John Edwin Montano from Independiente Medellin’s under-20 for a fee worth $3 million plus add-ons and a 20% sell-on clause.
More so, John Edwin Montano is expected to arrive in the city of Manchester in the next few days in order to under-go his medical test.
Meanwhile, He will be shipped to play for Lommel Sk NV, a second tier club in Belgium which is being managed by the City Football Group in order to proceed with his talent development as a player.
However, John Edwin Montano is a citizen of Colombia born on the 4th of October, 2006 in the city of Cali. He gradually making his way to Colombia’s men senior football as he featured in the under-17 and is currently playing for the under-20 national team of Colombia.
