Forgery of high school transcipt; four Ghanaian students arrested

Four Ghanaian students in the United States of America have been arrested for involving themselves in forging high school transcript to gain admission in Lehigh University.

Four Ghanaian students in their quest to climb high on the academic ladder, they have found themselves on the wrong side of the law as they allegedly forged the basic requirement of high school results needed to gain qualification into the University of Lehigh in the city of Pennsylvania.

The students were arrested in the United States after the University had been previewed to the inaccuracies in the result certificates presented to the institution during the admission period.

However, a probe into the case were initiated after serious concerns were raised with respect to the legitimacy of the transcript which had been presented by one of the students` older siblings. These prompted the authorities of the university into unveiling similar discrepancies in the applications of the other three students.

Meanwhile, these students had received huge sums of financial aid which were totaling USD$212,933, USD$127,213, and USD$129,244 respectively which was based on the alleged falsified transcripts submitted to the University by the already admitted students.

Further, the students are currently in the prison cells and are facing charges of theft and forgery of services and are they will on be out of the cells if they are able to cough out a bail-out worth USD$100,000.
