Fulham FC slipped against title contenders Manchester City in the most dignifying situation.
The Cottagers were seeking to extend their two consecutive wins in the league to three whiles facing league title contenders, Manchester City in front of their home fans.
After first of action, Erling Braut Haaland seized the goal scoring opportunity to hand of the lead to his side on the 17th minute. Both sides regrouped and for a half which looked almost done and dusted, Haaland ventured into his goal scoring exploits as he laid down a cheeky pass for Tijjani Reijnders to finish off beautiful.

Fulham boss, Marco Silva further initiated two more changes, introducing Kusi Asare and King in place of Jimenez and Smith Rowe respectively on the 73rd minute.
Four minutes after the changes were initiated, Samuel Chuqwueze bagged his brace hence, reigniting his side’s believe to pull off a stun on Manchester City however, it did not happen since the few chances created in the dying embers of the game was not utilized properly.
Erling Haaland in his post-match interview alluded to the fact that, his side lost their heads in the heart of defense which should not be the case ahead of their next game against league leaders.
“We shouldn’t think too much about Arsenal. We should focus on ourselves, try to improve, avoid things like this happening today because it’s not good enough and we all know this. We need to improve as a team, that’s what our focus should be,” Erling Haaland told Sky.
