A predicted squad list of the Ghana Black Stars as they are set to feature in the final lap of the two qualifying 2025 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) matches.
On November 7, 2024, the head coach of the men’s senior soccer team of Ghana, coach Otto Addo would announce a twenty-three squad list of players who will take part in Ghana’s fight to claim a spot at the next African Cup of Nations which would be held in a north African country, Morocco.
Ghana after participating in four qualifying group matches have failed to win a game, yet boasting with chest out as they have lost two and drawn two of their games. They lost their first game against the Angolan national team by a goal, struggled to secure a point away from home to Niger, managed to claim another point from Sudan at home and lost woefully to Sudan in the return fixture; therefore, Ghana has just two points out of a possible twelve points, scoring one and have conceded four goals.
Following the unbefitting performances of the Ghana Black Stars in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, they are on the verge of crushing out of not participating at the main tournament hence, are hoping to bag the six maximum points from their last to qualifying games against Angola, who has already qualified and Niger, who stands no chance of qualifying to the tournament. However, Sudan needs just a point to make it to the tournament with two games on their hands to play.
Below are the possible squad list set to be announced on Friday by the head coach, Otto Addo:
Goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Wollacott, Fredrick Asare
Defenders: Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Mumin, Alexander Djiku, Jerome Opoku, Tariq lamptey, Ebenezer Annan, Hamza Issah.
Midfielders: Mohammed Kudus, Elisha Owusu, Thomas Partey, Ernest Nuamah, Ibrahim Sulemana.
Forwards: Kamaldeen Sulemana, Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Ibrahim Osman, Joseph Penstil, Inaki Williams.
