The top-flight 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season has been on a run, serving football fans with immeasurable source of delight. At the end of the sixth round of matches for the league, Accra Heart of Oak secured their second win in the season while Nsoatrman and many other clubs failed to amass the three maximum points.

Over the weekend, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 had Accra Lions FC hosting Berekum Chelsea which ended in a 1-1 score line. Meanwhile, Hearts of Lions also invited newly promoted side, Vision FC and after 90-minutes of soccer, it ended in a 0-0 results. Unfortunately, Accra based club, Legon Cities FC had their league match post-pone due to the unavailability of Asante Kotoko FC.

Further, the match week six of the Ghana Premier League took center stage on Sunday, October 13, 2024 in a fashionable state as reigning champions of the league, FC Samartex also failed to kick start the league match schedule on Sunday which involved Nsoatreman FC as a result of heavy down pour of rains in the mid-morning of Sunday.

However, other league centers such as the home grounds of Young Apostles FC were successful in hosting Accra Hearts of Oak only to be humbled by the premier league giant to humble them in a 1-2 score line.

Plus, Bechem United FC also snatched a convincing 2-0 win from the immediate past champions of the Ghana premier league side, Medeama SC while Dreams FC also tasted a bitter defeat on away from Aduana Stars FC.

More so, Nations FC also managed to secure just a point as they hosted Bibiani Gold Stars Fc. Basake Holy Stars FC punched Karela United FC with a goal which was enough to snatch all three points for the hoe side.

One out of the post pone games, FC Samartex versus Nsoatreman enjoyed an early kick-off league match on today, October 14, 2024 and it ended in a 2-0 win for FC samartex.

At the end of match week six in the Ghana premier league, Marfo of Aduana FC leads the top goal scorers chart with four goals while Abdul Rahaman of Nsoatreman, and Accra Lions FC’s Alladoh are behind the leader of the top goal scorer with two goals each.
