The permutation available for the Ghana Black Stars to book a spot at the next African Cup of Nations tournament.
In the last two batches of group stage qualifying rounds of games a set to be underway, Group F is ablaze as a giant in international football, Ghana might stand a chance of not making it to the main tournament as against a civil war inflicted country, Sudan.
Following the last four batches of qualifying games played, Angola who has been the best team in Group F has twelve points after four games, Sudan as the second best placed team in the group has seven points in four games while Ghana has just two points out of a possible twelve points after four games and Niger, can only lay a hand on just a point after their four games in the group.
Further, it is imperative to note that, Angola after defeating Niger in their fourth game have successfully joined the few African nations that have booked a place at the 2025 African Cup of Nations tournament at Morocco.
Meanwhile, the second placed team in Group F, Sudan have seven points, four goals scored and two goals conceded after four games as compared to the third place team, Ghana, who have only just two points, one goal scored and four goals conceded in four games.
Therefore, taking a detailed look at the available points between the second placed team, Sudan and the third placed team, Ghana, Sudan would on need to win just one out of the two games or secure a point out of the two games for them to make it to the tournament with eight points.
While Ghana can only make an outing to the next African Cup of Nations should they bag all available six points out of the two games left and hope that Sudan would not pick up any points in their last two games as well; when that happens, Ghana can qualify with eight points. Yet, should Sudan pick a point in their last two games and Ghana wins all their games, the qualification method will now be determined by the goal difference of both teams.
However, it is highly impossible for Sudan not to win or pick a point from their next two games between an already qualified Angolan team and the wiping boys of the group, Niger national team.
Ghana missing out of the 2025 African Cup of Nations is going to be a shocker for the four time champions of the tournament who are seeking to win it for the fifth time. Group F is going to serve the football world with another trilling qualifying last two batch of matches.
