Cristiano Ronaldo has fumed out his utmost pleasure in making appearances for the Portuguese men’s senior football team.
Following the announcement of the international break, the veteran attacking forward for Suadi Pro League side, Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his reasons for always displaying hundred-percent dedication and commitment to the national team whenever the national team handlers call upon him for his services.
He added that, the lack of commitment by some professional players when called to feature for the national team makes him sick since he is of the believe that, any player playing for his national team should be proud and honored.
“I get frustrated with some players who don’t want to play for Portugal. I enjoy playing for the national team, time flies! There is nothing better than representing your country and your culture,” Ronaldo stated.
Cristiano Ronaldo further responded to a journalist’s question which was seeking for answer regarding when he would be ready to bow out of professional football, “I can not wait to see what my legs have to offer me in the next few years.”
Plus, Ronaldo reacted to his comment concerning his target to reach a certain number of goals scored by an individual before he retires, “if the thousand goals come, that is fine… but if it does not happen, I am already the top scorer in history.”
