John Mikel Obi has shared a word of caution to Nicholas Jackson since Chelsea’s new striker signee broke into the starting eleven.
In an interview with Nigeria and Chelsea legend, John Mikel Obi has been deliberating on the significance of the Senegalese center-forward in uplifting his game and improving on his output whenever he gets the chance to play for the team.
Mikel Obi’s enunciations stems from the fact that, Nicholas Jackson since joining the Blues has failed to be at his best in recent times and therefore, he holds the view that, the Brazilian goal poacher would be the best bet for the coach with regards to which center forward should start in games
More so, in Obi’s submission, he clearly stated that “Joao Pedro’s starting role is a message strong message to Nicholas Jackson.”
That being said, Joao Pedro in yesterday’s FIFA Club World Cup semi-final clash against Fluminense secure his first ever start and bagged a brace for Chelsea which was enough to send his side into the final clash which beckons.
