Pitso Mosimane is set to resume coaching after being appointed as new head coach for the men’s senior team of South Africa.
After an unimpressive outing at the just ended 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted by three USA, Canada and Mexico, the South African Football Federation (SAFA) have decided to appoint Pitso Mosimane as their new head coach.
Now, arguably the most decorated African tactician on the continent of Africa, Pitso Mosimane will reunite with his former employers.
After being appointed 16-years ago, Mosimane has been handed another tough job following similar sequence, for which he was appointed in 2010.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns manager will seek to reposition the sinking Bafana Bafana ship back into its glory days.
Beginning his first assignment with the South African national team will be the African Cup of Nations qualifying series.
