The Ghana Football Association President Kurt E.S Okraku has responded to calls from Ghanaians regarding the vacant men’s senior national team head-coaching job available since the departure of Carlos Quieroz.
After the exhaustion of Carlos Quieroz’s four-months performance contract as Ghana Black-Stars head coach, the senior national football team has been without a tactician.
Now, with major calls been champion by sports pundits and Ghanaian football lovers, 3-Sports, a subsidiary of traditional media outlet TV3 in an interview published on August 27, 2026, seized the medium to seek answers on the Black Stars coaching subject.
In the Ghana Football Association President’s remarks, he asserted that, the football association has been in negotiations with a potential Black-Stars coach however, both parties are yet to make the deal official.
“… SO what I [Kurt E.S Okraku] know is that, Ghana would have a coach before we regroup. What I know is that, the coach who would lead the Black Stars is 99-percent in place.
” What I know is that, the coach who would lead the Black Stars is already working and what I also know is that, we are just at that last line were we are left to sign papers and formalize the relationship….,” Mr Kurt E.S Okraku said.
