Wolverhampton Wanderers in their quest not to loose their English premier league status as they have slapped a sacking letter in the face of their substantive manager Gary O’Neil, in the early hours of Sunday, December 15, 2024, following an underwhelming run of results this season.
As the administration are well informed of the current position of the club on the Premier League table, they have found it imperative to hastily appoint a new competent manager who can quickly turn the fortunes of the club in order not for them to relinquish their Premier League status at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Therefore, Wolves are presently in negotiations with Al Shabab FC manager, Vitor Pereira, 56, in order to bring him to the club as the best fit replacement for Gary O’Neil who was relieved of his responsibilities as the manager today.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that, Vitor Pereira is in a long term contract with Al Shabab however, Wolverhampton Wanderers are eager to pay for the release clause which will open the doors for Pereira to join the Premier League club in the next few days.
The negotiations between the camp of Vitor Pereira and Wolves are progressing steadily well as the manager has also shown a keen interest of making a move into the available opportunity to join Wolves in the English premier league.
What’s more, the 56-year-old manager has the capacity to bring out the best of the players available to him at Wolves since he has a bunch of experience, a proven winner at every club he has managed, a well disciplined coach and his ability to speak good English would enable him communicate in order to get the players quickly adapt to his playing style easily.
Yet, Wolves had initial conversations with the former Brighton and Chelsea manager, Graham Potter but could not reach an agreement with him plus Carlos Corberan, and they also considered opening negotiations with Blackburn’s John Eustace as Gary O’Neil’s replacement.
