Asante Kotoko have been charged of wrongful misconduct by the Ghana Football Association after the club publish comments which was does promote healthy relationship in the game of football.
Yesterday, Kumasi Asante Kotoko were scheduled to play their match-week eleven league game against the former league champions, FC Samartex 1996 in Samreboi.
The game which was fiercely competitive since both sides were prepped and poised to pick up all three maximum did not yield any eventual winner however, it was field with drama and end-to-end action by both teams.

In addition, the Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko could not handle the taste of dropping points against FC Samartex 1996 hence, fumed out their frustrations through their social media platforms as their spewed very untasteful words.
Earlier this morning, the Ghana Football Association’s regulatory body in-charge of scrutinizing the top-flight league affairs released a statement, indicating that, ” Asante Kotoko SC have been charged following their MatchDay 11 Ghana Premier League game against FC Samartex 1996 for a breach of Section 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations.
“The Club is alleged to have published comments on social media that were inciteful and posed a risk of violence against the match official which constitute misconduct that brings the game into disrepute,” the official letter revealed.
