Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Charles Taylor has completely rubbished the idea of new appointments made to improve the technical team of the senior national team of Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He then added, students yearn for convenient place of study – the money should rather be utilized for such project and that would yield much profitable results.
The new additions made to the senior national team of Ghana are:
1. Alain Ravera – Assistant coach
2. Kim Bjorkegren – Assistant coach
3. Jose Daniel Martinez Alfonso – Video Analyst
4. Carlos Lozano Romero – Team Physiotherapist
5. Dwyane Peasah Paa Kwesi – Performance coach
Charles Taylor after listening to the names of the five-man new technical team members of the Black Stars, he quizzed the host, “what is the track-record of these coaches appointed to the senior national team? He reemphasized on the facts impeding the additions made to the team – Black stars belongs to everyone, but this particular Black Stars team should not be over burdened with huge expectations. They should rather use their next tournament as a preparation avenue for the next major tournament as he stuck to his initial submission.
Plus, Charles Taylor did not entertain the question of the thought of Ghana Black Stars making any positive impact at the 2026 FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place in three countries, United States of America, Canada and Mexico,” this team would not make any strides in the World Cup. Are you people expecting something?”
