The inception of Ghana’s 2025/26 domestic league season was flagged by Hearts of oak unveiling Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani as the club’s new head coach, usurping Coach Ouattara who was reassigned as the club’s new technical director.
Prior to Mas-ud Didi Dramani’s appointment, the Rainbow Club had been on a derailing bus whiles propagating unworthy trend of football in the domestic league and CAF inter-club competitions.

These words from the newly appointed gaffer inspired and renewed lost hankering. However, Second-half of the 2025/26 season is underway, Hearts of Oak’s quest to achieve laurels has been realistically muddied by an uninspired tactical deployment of formations and systems designed to win games.
Is Coach Didi Dramani inching close to a sack?
Heart of Oak as a club have not painted a clearer picture of their targets for this season hence, the measuring gauge to axe or keep Coach Dramani as the head of the technical team of the club is not revealed.
Inkling, shedding lights on why Coach Didi Dramani would not receive a sacking letter should he loose to Asante Kotoko on Sunday only points out how important he is to the club’s future project or he is executing the bidding of the club administrators.
Can Hearts of Oak predicament change?
The hindering factors averting Hearts of Oak from assuming their giant status in African football is poor leadership on the path of the administrators coupled with absence of a governing structure which will plan and execute the yearly targets of the club.
