Nottingham Forest FC after axing Sean Dyche from the team have opted for the services of former Wolverhampton Wandrers boss, Vitor Pereira as deal has been agreed upon.
After 114 days of Sean Dyche’s era at the City Grounds, Nottingham Forest in a club statement released yesterday had announced their decision to fire the manager who has served the club with unfavorable run of results in the English Premier League.
“Nottingham Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach. We would like to thank Sean and his stuff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future. We will be making no further comment at this time,” the statement indicated.
Less than twelve hours after the sacking of Sean Dyche, Nottingham Forest have agreed on a deal with Vitor Pereira, who is set to take charge as the new City Grounds manager.
Vitor Pereira’s willingness to join Forest in this crucial period of the season, “means Forest are searching for their fourth head coach of the campaign, having sacked Ange Postecoglou in October and Nuno Espirito Santo in September,” BBC Sports Senior Correspondent, Sami Mokbel assert.
Further, Nottingham Forest under the supervision of their immediate past coach are still alive in the UEFA Europa League after having bagged four wins, two draws and two defeats in the group phase to book qualification into the next round.
Forest are scheduled to play against Turkish Prem side, Fenerbache in a two-game legged affair later this month in order to secure qualification into the round/16 stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, they would have no role to play in any of the domestic cup games after failing to win against Swansea in the EFL Cup round-3 and loosing against Championship side, Wrexham United in the third round of the English FA Cup.
