‘Unilever Africa will fund Aduana’s CAF inter-club campaign’ – Atta Poku

Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Aduana FC have announced the club’s preparation as they inch closer to securing qualification to participate in any of the CAF inter-club competitions next year.

Now, being third on the Ghana Premier League table after twenty-one games, and amassing thirty-six with only seven points behind Medeama FC who occupy the summit of the 2025/26 domestic league currently – it’s not far-fetched when the renowned journalist and C.E.O of Aduana FC outlines preparations towards an achievable target.

Presently, Aduana FC are in contention for the ultimate in the Ghana Premier League with thirteen league games to be played in addition to their MTN FA Cup competitions as they are actively involved in the conversations regarding the favourites to clutch the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup.

The two-time domestic league winners are blessed with some of the most experienced and talented squads in this season’s league however, they been slapped with inconsistencies in their performances in their last five games which has caused them to slip from the top of the table to third position.

In respect of the squad depth possessed by Aduana FC, the Chief Executive Officer of the club was not detached from the fact that the club needed to improve on their squad hence, the need to sign a few additions into their ranks, “well, we are in the building face of our team -so we’ll beef up the squad to go and play.”

Plus, he touched the significance of funding in order to make an impact when they booked a slot in either the CAF Champions League by winning the league or make it into the CAF Champions when they win the MTN FA Cup.

“Financially, we’ve just signed a contract with Unilever Africa and they are going to fund our campaign in Africa if we make it so financially we are okay. Physically, we’re preparing so I’m pretty sure then and the entire community and the community will come to the fore to offer the support that we’ll need,” Atta Poku side.
