Wolverhampton Wanderers succeeded in reaching contract extension agreements with Matheus Cunha.

The Brazilian center forward has been highly impressed with the current footballing project of Wolverhampton Wanderers, hence has finally accepted to cement his stay at the club in a verbal agreement.

Now, the contract extension negotiations would include a well improved salary which will make Matheus Cunha one of the highest earners In the club.

In as much as Matheus Cunha’s overwhelming performances for Wolves from last season is attracting mouthwatering transfer fees from several clubs, Wolves have indicated their unwillingness of axing their striker out especially in this January transfer window.

The 25-year-old is on the brink of penning new contract extension for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the next couple of days as all official documents are being prepared for approval.
