The recent Ghana Black Stars call-ups made by Coach Otto Addo for the upcoming international games would not feature some key players due to injuries.
Coach Otto Addo on last Thursday, November 7,2024, announced the list of twenty-three men squad for the last two 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in the upcoming international breaks for club football.
The squad list entailed names of football players who have been outstanding in their respective clubs in arguably some of the various best leagues in the world.
Moreover, the next two international qualifying games for the Black Stars is one hell of a difficult games hence, it is imperative for the senior men’s football team of Ghana to have all their quality arsenals for the games.
Ghana is set to travel to Angola and return home to face-off Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium, for the second leg game of the qualifying games. Meanwhile, Angola have already booked a place in the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
Settling in for the players who gained a call-up and yet can not make it due to injuries; Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Tariq Lamptey, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey, Antoine Semenyo, and Jerome Opoku.
However, the MLS star and Black Stars winger, Joseph Paintsil has pull-out as a member of the squad list due to personal reasons which he has not disclosed to the public. His absence will be immensely missed since his style of play as a winger is very distinct in the black Stars team.
