Exclusive: Does Ruben Amorim Need To Sign A Left-Back For Him To Flourish At Manchester United?

Ruben Amorim is hunting for an upgrade of Manchester United’s available left-backs to beef up his squad.

The immediate passed Sporting CP’s manager, Ruben Amorim after conducting series of training with his new club, Manchester United, he is already dreaming of beefing up the squad he inherited.

However, it is clear Manchester United is prepping to show either Malacia or Luke Shaw the exit doors when their contracts run down subsequently in the next summer.

Further, Manchester United are in talks with the scouts and the first team’s head coach to discuss the best possible left-back who has the quality to slot into Ruben Amorim’s preferred style of play.

Inside sources have disclosed that, there are three players who are best fit for the left-back job in Manchester United and top of the list is the Canadian and Bayern Munich’s player, Davies who is inch closure to running his contract down without any extension at Bayern.

Davies is also attracting huge interest from top European clubs such as Real Madrid, and his current club Bayern Munich themselves are hope to secure contract extension from their left-back before his contract exhaust in the next summer transfer window.

Clearly, the Portuguese coach, Ruben Amorim would be in a watertight position should he not have at his disposable, a natural left full-ball, who is good defensively and can perform decently when he surges forward to join the attack.

For a coach, who is mainly known for utilizing formations such as the 3-4-3, which means, he loves to have a much compact midfield whiles his full backs add up in the attacking third to aid in providing his team more opportunities in terms of chances to be created for goals to be scored; Manchester United will certainly have to fetch Ruben Amorim a proper left-back in the winter January transfer or the summer transfer window.
