Pep Guardiola has hint the possible solutions to his team’s inability to grind positive results in games.
Ahead of Manchester City‘s Champions League game which is set to take place tomorrow, December 11, 2024, Pep Guardiola as the club manager in his press conference yesterday, December 9, 2024, was quizzed about the subject of his team’s strive for positive results in their recent games.
In Pep Guardiola’s responds to the question, he iterated that, “the solutions to problems is to give me my players back and we will do it. But it is possible right now, and I think it is going to happen for a long time…”
Guardiola’s reaction stem from the fact that, his team in their last five games in the English premier league have only recorded just a win which, humbled overwhelmingly by Tottenham Hotspurs, Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool, plus picking up one point against Crystal Palace in their last game.
He further sighted moments in the dressing room, were he asked his lads not to dow their heads but rather take responsibility on the field, “I said to the players: don’t feel sorry, please.
“Accept the challenge, now it will be more difficult and maybe at the end we will have more satisfaction in the way we’re going to behave in these problems than maybe in other seasons that we won PL titles,” Guardiola said.
Manchester City set to travel to the Allianz Stadium to battle out with a winless five games streak Juventus without Oscar Bobb, Nathan Ake, Matheo Kovacic, Rodri, Manuel Akanji, Phil Foden, and John Stones all due to various forms of injury that they have sustained.
