Manchester United are in an abyss situations as they have strived hard in their last their Premier League games and yet, woefully failed even bag a points in those games. This results have caught up with their new head coach, Ruben Amorim as he seeks to find antidotes to the problem
Now, after Manchester United were humbled in their Thursday Boxing day game against struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers side at the Old Trafford which also ended in a shambolic and shameful 0-2 defeat to the home side, Ruben Amorim in his post-match press conference reacted to his team’s disappointing results and what he intends to do.
“Manchester United manager cannot be comfortable. I know the business that I’m in. I know if we don’t win, I know that every manager is in danger and I like that! I’m here, full focus, difficult moments is part of football, I knew it was going to be tough,” he stated.
Ruben Amorim further reacted to the calls of a journalist who asked him, what he makes of English defender, Harry Maguire and why he is gradually getting himself into the starting eleven in recent games.
“He [Harry Maguire] works really well – he is focused on the job and not what people say. Harry has no excuses, even if he had some tough moments. I think in that department he is an example,” Amorim said.
However, Manchester United can only boast of just a win in their last four English premier league games and bizarrely loosing three against Tottenham Hotspurs, AFC Bournemouth, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
They are fourteenth on the league table with twenty-two points and just eight points above the relegation zone which looks quite possible should the performance of the team proceed in this same direction as they are also known to have one of the worse defense, having conceded more goals than they have scored.
