Mohammed Ahmed, the former Ghanaian professional footballer who was popularly known as the “dribbling magician” due to the skill set he deploys in playing football.

These individuals excelled in their positions due to the golden talents they displayed during their playing days.
Digging into the legendary Mohammed Polo`s biography. He was born on the 11th of November, 1956 by two Ghanaian parents who hailed from the Northern part of the Republic of Ghana however, he was born in the capital, Greater Accra region.
Mohammed since childhood had displayed his unwavering love for football therefore, he began playing football with his friends in the vicinity in which he resided. While at that, he had the opportunity to joined the youth side of one of the biggest and the oldest club in Ghana, Hearts of Oak (Auroras FC) in the year, 1972 were he spent just a year and he had a promotion into the senior team of Hearts of Oak at the age of 17.
Additionally, Mohammed Polo after signing his first professional contract in 1973 with Hearts of Oak, his talents was then enough for him to command a in the starting eleven as a wide forward player, making two hundred and thirty-two appearances while recording one hundred and forty-five to his credit after spending six seasons with the club.
Mohammed Polo finally exited the Ghanaian footballing scene as he decided to ink five years contract for Al-Wasl. The dribbling magician made a return to his former club, Accra Hearts of Oak in 1985. He inked a two years contract for his second spell with his childhood club.
He then again made a move to FC 105 Liberville for just a season, from 1987 to 1988. Polo proceeded to join Shell FC for one season in the year 1998, after exhausting six months of his contract, he returned to Accra Hearts of Oak on another six months contract. In 1992, he signed a two years deal with a Ghanaian club, Great Olympics were he finally hanged his footballing boots after a very successful professional football career.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Polo also made his mark in the national team of Ghana, as he made fifty-four appearances and scoring twenty goals for the team.
Ahmed Mohammed digressed from being a football player by becoming a coach after two years of retiring from football as a player. He inked a one year contract with Hearts of Oak from 1944 to 1995. He then went on a long break from footballing activities only only for him to join Stade Malien, a club in the African continent. After a year, a Ghanaian club which he played for as a player in Ghana, Great Olympics employed him as their manager. Polo returned to Hearts of Oak for a one year managerial job from 2013 to 2014.
