Neymar Jr has opened up on talks regarding his future with Santos FC when his contract ends.
The former FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain prolific winger, Neymar Jr has diffused talks surrounding his future with his current club – asserting that, “I do not know, really. I don’t know.”
Now, in the veteran winger’s recent interview with a Brazilian media outlet suggested that, he much opened to initiating talks with possible interested suitors in any top-clubs in any of the top-five European leagues or extending his stay with his boyhood club.
“I need some days now, I need to rest, reconnect then decide my future,” Neymar Jr iterated.
The 33-year-old in recent times has had his game disrupted with series of injuries however, he displayed his worth and experience after managing to rescue Santos FC from being relegated in the Brazilian top-flight league.
Neymar Jr in the Brazilian Premier League this season has been arguably the best attacking talent for Santos FC; registering eight goals and one assist, culminating to nine goal involvements in nineteen appearances.
In that vein, Neymar was quizzed on the topic, which club would he prioritize when his contract with Santos FC exhaust in the next few weeks, “For sure, my priority will always go to Santos FC.
