Osman Ibrahim makes debut appearance memorable as he provides crucial assist for his side to snatch first win in the French Ligue-One.
French Ligue-One side, Auxerre bagged their first win in their 2025/26 new season against mid-table side, Lorient FC.
The Estadio de l’Abbe-Deschamps was the venue for hosting Auxerre and Lorient’s game which was nothing short of joy for the home team fans.
The game saw three Ghanaian gems, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu and Ibrahim Osman aiding Auxerre to a one goal convincing victory.
That being said, Osman Ibrahim made etched his name in the good books of the manager with an indelible ink as he seized the opportunity to provide a sublime pass to Lassine Sinayoko to find the back of the net.
Brief about Osman Ibrahim

A prodigy of coach Joshua Awuah popularly known as Coach Ayoba, the chief executive officer of Strong Tower Football Club, joined the famous Right To Dream [RTD] at a young age, rose through the ranks and had a free transfer to Denmark Premier side, FC Norjaelland.
After few season, he joined English Premier League side, Brighton and Hove Albion; after failing to grab much playing time, he was loaned to Eredivisie side, Feyenoord and after a long-season loan, he returned back to his parent club.
Now, Brighton and Hove Albion in the 2024/25 transfer window, have loaned the youngster to French Ligue-One side, Auxerre FC where he has made his remarkable debut appearance.
Auxerre are currently fifth on the French Ligue-One standings, with a win in their first outing.
