French Ligue-One reigning champions, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have launched their January transfer window as they are on a journey to hunt Athletic Bilbao superstar, Nico Williams in their quest to beef up their squad for the remaining games of the 2024/25 season.
Now, the Spanish and Athletic Bilbao versatile left wing-forward, Nico Williams after failing to join Barcelona in the last summer transfer window has been on the radar of top European clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur who are also interest in the services of the forward.
As per multiple reports, the forty-eight million pounds valued player would be opened to joining any top European club probably next season however, Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint Germain have announced internally of their quest to augment the team in January in order for them to compete at the highest level.
Meanwhile, in side sources have revealed that, Paris Saint Germain manager, Luis Enrique has a list of players like Kolo Muani and Dembele who have fallen out of favor and are deemed by the manager as players who lack the requisite requirement to compete for the club.
Therefore, the release clause stipulated in the contract of Nico Williams would be triggered in order for the Spanish international to join the squad in January as he is also viewed as the perfect replacement of Kylian Mbappe.
