The head coach of Medeama SC has been reacting to his side’s preparedness prior to their much anticipated CAF Champions League game against Tanzanian counterpart TP Mazembe.
During Sunday post-match interview, Medeama boss reacted to calls on the readiness of his side ahead of their continental club competition game against TP Mazembe at the Tarkwa TNA Park.
In details, the Ghana Premier League champions initiated their 2026/27 campaign in a more confident manner, deposing off their league rivals Nations FC in a convincing 2-0 win last Sunday to clutch first cup of the season.
Meanwhile, Coach Ibrahim Tanko claimed that, Medeama’s Champions of Champions Cup triumph would rather propel his side to secure a positive start in their CAF Champions League campaign – retaining that, much focus has been shifted to the game.
“This is the last game to that game [against TP Mazembe]. Medeama are 100% ready for the game. There is no problem [that I’m not celebrating]. I don’t think, what do you expect me to do? I mean, we won it, and like I said, our aim is next week,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko iterated.
