FIFA World Cup Chronicles: Calf Injury Rules out Tino Livramento

The Three Lions of England have had their FIFA World Cup tournament entangled with series of set-backs. News popping up from camp suggest that, Tino Livramento has been ruled out of the competition due to sustained calf injury.

Prior to England kick-starting their World Cup bid, Thomas Tuchel has sadly had to shortchange one of his first choice defender, Tino Livramento due to a calf injury which will require more time to recover.

Now, The former Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain manager has had to call on Trevoh Chalobah, a central defender who could not make the initial 26-man squad short list.

The Chelsea academy prodigy is currently en-route to the Three Lions camp to substitute the injured Tino Livramento. Chalobah is not expected to feature in England’s opening Group-L game against Croatia.

However, He will be ready for selection in the subsequent group stage games plus other games should the Three Lions of England qualify out of their Group into the next stage of the tournament.
