Spanish La-Liga giant, FC Barcelona are expressing keen interest in signing La-Liga 2 side Racing Santander’s left full-back Jorge Salinas on a permanent transfer deal.
In the last few days, multiple reports have suggested that, Catalonian side, FC Barcelona have been engaging Jorge Salinas for his services – as conversation around the table are hinging on Salinas deem as the possible replacement for Balde.
Now, personal terms agreements between Salinas and FC Barcelona has been seal, with a five-year contract agreed upon. However, Barca are willing to pay his buy-out clause worth 8-Million-Euros before 30th June to avoid the automatic doubling of transfer fee by 1 July, 2026 to 16-Million-Euros.
FC Barcelona have been impressed with his masterclass performance in the just ended 2025/2026 La-Liga 2 campaign – featuring in 33 games and contributing in 7 goal involvements for Racing Santander.
The 19-year old youngster has also consider his move to the Blaugrana team as a higher block despite attracting interest from other top European teams like Paris Saint Germen, Newcastle United and Bayer Leverkusen.
