Aston Villa are looking to bolster their wide-forward options as they spend big on securing the services of Paris Saint-Germain’s winger Ibrahim Mbaye on a long term contract.
In the last three seasons, Aston Villa have resorted to finding short term solutions to their wing-forward options hence, the arrival of the likes of Marco Asensio from P.S.G and Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
Now, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have succeeded to reach an agreement with reigning French Ligue-One champions Paris Saint-Germain, for the services of 2008-born Senegalese winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
The 18-year-old winger will join English Premier League side, Villa, on a 55-million-euros transfer deal as David Ornstein reports. Further report indicate that, personal terms are still ongoing.
However, it is certain that, Ibrahim Mbaye move will be on a long-term basis – a possible 5-year deal plus a one-year extension or a five-year deal with no option to extend.
In other transfer news from Aston Villa: Unai Emery’s side in the last couple of days have managed to get the services of Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Bayern Munich, Nicolas Jackson joins from Chelsea and finally, highly rated youngster Ibrahim Mbaye will join the club.
