Wolverhampton Wanderers have succeeded in completing the transfer negotiations for Marshall Munetsi.
The former Orlando Pirates superstar, Marshall Munetsi has inked a three-year permanent plus a one year option to extend transfer deal worth £16 million for English Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day of the January transfer window.
Marshall Munetsi is set to make his initiate a new chapter in the most competitive league in the world as he joins Wolves on a permanent basis.
Now, the Zimbabwean midfield maestro is in a whisk hesitation to cement his position as a key integral member at the Molineux as he is also set to join the rescue mission of Wolves in salvaging and maintaining their Premier League status.
In Marshall Munetsi’s first interview after joining Wolves expressed his warmest interest in the Premier League and how anxious he is as he is set to open a new chapter in arguably the most viewed and competitive league in the world currently.
“I’m delighted. It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to be part of something big, and being part of Wolves is something big for me, and is big for my family. It’s a team that I’ve also seen from afar, and the Premier League is the best place to be, so I’m delighted to join the family, to join the team.
“I’m very excited. It’s probably going to be the first time I’ve had a big opportunity to be representing a bigger club. Nothing against Reims, but now you’re going to be playing in the Premier League, playing for Wolves. Also, we have a greater population in England for Zimbabwean, I think I will feel even more at home than what I was doing in France,” Munetsi asserted.
