Aymeric Laporte has been vocal in a recent interview as he sheds highlights of “regrets” after exiting English Premier League side Manchester City in the circumstances in which he did.
The Spanish center-back made a move to Saudi Pro League side, Al Nassr for a transfer worth 23.6-million-pounds in August 2023 while he still had the opportunity to choose not to leave.
Speaking on why the aftermath of leaving Manchester City, he said, “I regretted leaving because I was at the best club in the world, Man City. The way they take care of players is unique; you only realize it when you leave,” Laporte stated.
Aymeric Laporte joined Manchester City in 2018, aided the club to win thirteen major trophies including the multiple English Premier League titles, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and all English domestic league trophies.
