Gianluigi Buffon has fumed out on the subject of who is the best football player he has played with and why he deserved to win multiple Ballon D’Or awards.
Arguably the best safe pair of hands to ever emanate from Italy, Gianluigi Buffon in the last couple of days has been in the news as he shares his views on various happenings in the world of football.
While Gianluigi Bufffon was granting an interview with an Italian base private media outlet, he confessed about who he really deems as the best footballer taking into consideration, the position the player mans on the field, his ability, quality, and dexterity at which he plays in order to influence the game for his side.
“The best player I have ever played with…..? I would say Neymar Jr. In my opinion, he deserved to win five Ballon D’Or,” Buffon answered.
He further iterated that, the Brazilian play maker, Neymar Jr is the most outstanding player he has ever seen since he had the opportunity to witness many great footballers in his era. Buffon with all his football knowledge is of the view that, the Brazilian has offered a lot in terms the quality he posses as a player maker and a forward winger.
“I had the chance to share the pitch with Zidane, Ronaldo, Messi, and more… but Neymar was really a special guy and a player,” he added.
