Brazilian center-forward, Richarlison has showered words of praises on Mohammed Kudus for his superb debut for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Today, Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus got the opportunity to make his debut for Tottenham Hotspur FC in the English Premier League since joining the London club for a record transfer fee during the summer transfer window.
Richarlison was mesmerize with kudus’s performance against newly promoted side, Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium; describing the Ghanaian midfielder as a “Brazilian”.
Kudus during today’s game recorded several successful dribbles which got every football fan being in an awe.
In that vein, Richarlison in his post-match interview could not hide his delight after bagging a brace of goals which were all from a superb assists from Kudus, “I think this guy is a Brazilian with his ability to dribble.”
The Ghanaian gem also had this to say during his post-match interview as he asserted his joy with respect to the team’s performance which accounted for the three goals they registered hence winning their first game in the Prem.
“The most important thing waas to get the three points, and we did. As a winger, one of my responsibilities is to serve the strikers. I don’t think it was a perfect cross but he made me look good. I came here to entertain the fans, that’s what the game is all about,” Mohammed Kudus said.
Now, Tottenham Hotspur in their first league game in the 2025/26 Premier League game against Burnley ended in a 3:0 score-line.
A brace of goals from Richarlison and a solo goal by Brenan Johnson handed over a convincing win to the reigning UEFA Europa League champions.
