14-years jailed term slapped on fmr Crystal Palace defender Michael Adusei for engaging in drug trafficking

Former Crystal Palace defender, Michael Adusei has been jailed for engaging in drug trafficking.

The Ghanaian and retired professional player who had a short stint with English premier League side, Crystal Palace has had his freedom of liberty curtailed after being found guilty for engaging in illicit drug trafficking.

Michael Kwame Adusei Boateng after serving a-year and four months jail term in the year 2014 and being ban for life from engaging in any football related activities for attempting to perpetrate match fixing fraud at the time has seen himself being locked up in jailed once again.

34-year-old ex-footballer has been found guilty by a competent court of jurisdiction for playing a key role in a drug trafficking operation.

Now, kwame Adusei was arrested on the eve of last year’s Valentine’s day as he was in possession of 19.7kg of crystal meth valued at between 1.18-million-pond and 2.36-million-pounds worth.

The court have have sentenced Mr Michael Kwame Adusei Boateng to spend the next fourteen years of his life in jail for engaging in the trafficking of drugs.
