Transfer news: Real Madrid determined to lure Alexander-Arnold and Theo Hernandez into their camp

Real Madrid have dish out their full raid as they hope to clutch Liverpool’s right-back, Trent Alexander Arnold and AC Milan’s captain, Theo Hernandez in the January transfer window as the club embark on a journey to revamp their descending available squad.

The Spanish LaLiga reigning champions are having a though time in finding the perfect back-ups for their already existing injury prone left-back, Ferland Mendy and veteran right full-back, Dani Carvajal who is being sidelined for the rest of the season due to a cruciate ligament injury he sustained at the beginning of the season.

Initially, Real Madrid had full confidence in securing the services of Bayern Munich’s first choice left-back, Davies however, Premier League giant, Manchester United seem to be in the lead to win the bid hence, are now looking at their former player, Theo Hernandez who exited the club after two years spell, from 2017 to 2019.

The 27-year-old French and AC Milan left-back is been viewed by Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti as the perfect player in that role to bring in more challenge to his fellow country man, Ferland Mendy who has not been very reliable.

However, AC Milan in the last few weeks have presented a contract extension deal to Theo Hernandez which is worth $5.1 million per every year yet, the player and his camp are not too impressed with the extension deal.

Meanwhile, inside sources have revealed that, Hernandez would obviously be interested to return to the Bernabeu as he is in love with the Spanish capital and would not hesitate to join the most successful club in the UEFA Champions League when they present the right contract which suit the preferences of the player.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are looking forward to initiating pre-contract negotiations with England and Liverpool’s right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold should he snub inking any contract extension deal with his childhood club in January.

Real Madrid are very hopeful to lure the 26-year-old to their camp on a free transfer deal by 2026 when his contract exhaust.

Summary of Real Madrid’s transfer news:

Real Madrid are seeking to rejuvenate their squad as they look at their unimpressive performances in the first-half of the 2024/25 season. Carlo Ancelotti is still in contention to make some few signings especially with their left-back and right-back position which is presently in somewhat slumbers hence.

Plus, seek to make some one or two signings in their midfield as well as they did not replace the departure of Toni Kroos which has shown significantly in the performances of the team.
