Sixteen teams would be in action on Sunday producing eight interesting games of much essence in the Ghana Premier League. All games scheduled for Sunday would take place on same time, which is 3:00pm.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko would be at home as they host Karela. The home side as one of the candidate contending for the league title would certainly seek to replicate their recent good run of form as they have not tasted a defeat in their last five games whiles Karela have lost three and draw two in their last five games. It’s obvious Kotoko would want to keep their league title contending hopes alive by winning this game against a winless side like Karela.

Further, Bechem United are also set to face second on the league table, Nations FC, who are just a point behind league leaders and would surely love to pick up all three points in order to pounce on any chance of the leaders dropping points for them to go top of the table.

Plus, Berekum Chelsea are seeking to replicate their last impressive result against newly promoted side, Vision FC in order to move up high on the league table while Vison would approach the game with all their arsenals for them to pick up a decent result at the end of the game.

What’s more, Hearts of Lions have been on a bad patch of form as they have lost their last two competitive games in the league. They would hope to rescue themselves from their sinking title race by staging an impressive performance against struggling Aduana FC who are also picking up their form in the season.

More so, Basake Holy Stars as a newly promoted side would be hoping to cause an upset against Premier League giant, Accra Hearts of Oak at their backyard. Meanwhile, Hearst of Oak can not afford to drop points against Holy Stars since that would be a dent on their title hopes.

Legon Cities would be up against league leaders, Bibiani GoldStars in a crunchy encounter since the leaders of the league would not be in a good mood to accept any other results aside a win since that might just clutch their top-spot position.

Reining league champions, Samartex FC are being faced with a dip in form, they have only picked up a win in their last five meetings, loosing two and sharing the points with their opponents.

Dreams FC heading into this game have also lost two and won just one in their last five games. Both teams would seek to make a statement in this game and might want to utilize this game as the turning point of their season.

A game of two equal halves in terms of their recent performances on the field of play in the league are set to take on the challenge for the three points. Both teams, Young Apostles and Nsoatreman have lost two of their last games plus, won one game each and have registered two draws in their last five games.
