Circuit head pastor of Christ Apostolic Church International, Pastor Ebenezer Ahuren in his Good Friday message shed lights on the significance of the death of Jesus Christ.
On Friday, April 18, 2025, the Kpone-Katamanso Circuit Head Pastor, Mr Ebenezer Ahuren whiles
sharing the word of God with the congregants on the topic, “Building through sacrifices” which is a sub-topic deduced from the Christ Apostolic Church International 2025 Easter convention dubbed, “Arise and build your church” spoke vehemently on the ethos for which the followers of Christ should not shun sacrificing.
In his powerful message in the early morning hours of Friday, Pastor Ahuren in his preaching painted the picture of what making sacrifices in the Christian religion means and why every Christian should embrace any form of sacrifice in Christ.
“Right from the initiation of creation, no one has been able to offer any form of sacrifice which is more valuable than the sacrifice Jesus Christ made and that is what I intend to discuss with you this morning. The church can not neglect the value of the sacrifice Christ Jesus made for us [Christian] to gain attain eternal life.
“This is because, the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ signifies the foundation of the Christian religion and his death is the anchor which makes every follower of Christ much distinct from any of members belonging to the other religions in the world,” Pastor Ebenezer Ahuren iterated.
He further added that, the death of Christ should be the reconciliation factor which will reconnect every lost soul back into the kingdom of God.
“The death of Christ Jesus was the will of God. But then, he [Jesus Christ] would not die a righteous death however, the death of a sinner was the form of death willed to the holy son of God in order for mankind to gain salvation,” Pastor Ebenezer Ahuren said.
