Ghana Premier League clubs struggling to win against lower tier sides in the MTN FA Cup quarter final clash.
The quarter final clash which was scheduled to take place over the weekend involved four Premiership sides and four lower division sides. All sides had keen interest in progressing into the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup.

On Saturday, two Division One side, Attram De Vesser and PAC Academy played against each other while in the other game, two Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea FC clashed with Bechem United FC.
More so, Sunday served a fixture between a GPL side, Karela United versus Golden Kicks FC plus, Asante Kotoko FC were also scheduled to play against another Division One side, True Democracy at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Now, in as much as the last eight quarter final games was an embodiment of quality football from all sides, who on the day proved why they are playing in the round-eight of the MTN FA Cup. The key takeaways from the games only displayed the abundant quality possessed by the lower-tier sides.
Touching on the quality of players in the ranks of these division one sides can be proven by the teams who have successfully booked a spot in the MTN FA Cup semi-finals.
