Media personality Saddick Adams has unapologetically punch holes in Ghana’s sporting policies, primarily citing the poor governance structures which has contributed to the existing plummeting issues of the sector.
The backdrop of Saddick Adams criticisms stems from a thorn of sporting administrative lapses which has over the years been overlooked by successive government of the Republic of Ghana.
“Finance Ministry rolled out policies to stabilize economy. Road ministry has patent plan to revamp road sector. Then you have sports – two years into office, you can’t even point to one comprehensive policy document to at least attempt a transformation of the almost dead sector,” he said.
Further, he argued on the premise of why the central government through the Ministry of Sports and Recreation have failed to develop a clear sporting policy which will adversely have positive effect on the domestic football league being organized by Ghana Football Association.
“… Just same old filthy pitches, soulless leagues, declining national teams and disorganized federations. Professional league is about to kickoff to horrible organization and empty stadiums.
While adding that, “Not one elite sports facility in the whole country. Embarrassing, yes, but disappointing no,” Saddick Adams stated in his concluding submission.
