The football fraternity is definitely set to miss Andres Iniesta, the man who diluted the passing dexterities and elevated the significance of accurate passing abilities of a player to the same equilibrium as the goal scored in a modern game.

He made his impact on a football game be felt not necessarily scoring but putting that defensive splitting final passes to the forward man for him to finish which aids his team to win games.

Today, the Spanish international, FC Barcelona, Vissel Kobe, and Emirates Club FC’s player, Andres Iniesta would exit the scenes of professional football with his chest out as a proud legend of the game which is verified by the statistics he pooped out in each and every game he featured.

In the following season, which is the 2004-2005, Coach Frank Rijkaard made Iniesta a regular senior team player.

There after, Andres Iniesta was successful in making each minute count as player on the field which earned him a regular spot in the starting eleven team for every game and gradually became one of the untouchables of FC Barcelona.

Plus, his long term stint with his childhood club was engulfed with a lot of trophies coupled with many individual awards.

After twenty-two years of playing for the Catalonian club, Andres Iniesta eventually exited the club to ink a three years contract with a Japanese Premier League club, Vessel Kobe. Inesta further extended his contract for another two years with Vessel Kobe. He aided the club in securing One Japanese League title, One Japanese Cup and One Japanese Super Cup in his five years spell.

In August 2023, Andres Iniesta made a free transfer move to Emirates Club in Dubai which he was eligible to extend for another year till 2025 yet, he has decided to hang his professional footballing boots.
