Coach Kwesi Appiah has made his final decision to temporarily sideline his position as a member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Council.
This decision by kwesi Appiah stems from the letter which was issued on Sunday, October 6, 2024 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) which stipulated clearly, the friction with regards to the interest involved due to the significance of his position as a Coach for Sudan and an executive member at the Ghana football Association.
In that vein, Ghana is set to host the Sudan national team in a crucial African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying game hence, CAF deemed it vital that, Coach Kwesi Appiah should make a decision with regards to which of the jobs he prefers immediately.
Later today, October 7, 2024 Coach Kwesi Appiah has indicated to the public, his decision to proceed with the coaching job for the Sudan national team. In effect, he has no affiliations with the Ghana Football Association until the end of the qualifying games.
