The white-angels of the Spanish La-Liga are in severe devastation as their key players continue to be left out of match day squad list due to injuries. Dani Carvajal in Real Madrid’s weekend league game against the yellow sub-marine, Villareal FC was subbed off due to an injury.
Dani Carvajal is set to join the long list of injured players in the team. After the medical team of Real Madrid had conducted their investigation regarding the actual injury of their first choice defensive right-back, it has been confirmed that he has painfully torn his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Therefore, the Spanish and Real Madrid player is set to be sidelined from the game of football for the next seven to eight months which could mean, his season is over and hence, would be looking forward to the 2025/26 season.
However, Carvajal had expressed his utmost will to work hard in order to gain full fitness, “serious cruciate ligament. I’m going to have surgery already and looking forward to starting recovery and coming back like a beast.” He further added, “thank you all so much for your messages, I feel very loved.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti when asked about his intentions to find antidote to the pot-hole at the right-back position as Dani Carvajal has sustained a cruciate ligament injury which means, he will be out for the rest of the season.
“Lucas Vazquez gives us a lot of confidence. During the international break, we will have time to talk about this, taking into account that the market [transfer market] is closed and there are not many options,” Carlo Ancelotti iterated during the post-match press conference.
Real Madrid can have some iota of joy since Camavinga has gained full match fitness and was able to make an impact in their league game against Villareal which ended in a 2:0 win for the white angels.
