Ghanaian actor and comedian, Michael Blackson, 51, has lamented bitterly with respect to the government of Ghana involving his investments into the debt restructuring policy which has caused him to loose huge sums of money.
Michael Blackson in the last few days took to his social media page as he chastised the government of Ghana being led by President Akufo-Addo for their failure to meet the agreements for the purchases of government bonds.
On Monday 23 September, 2024, Michael Blackson in his quest to seek answers from the government regarding the misfortunes and mayhem caused by the government for their inability to fulfill their part of the agreements had while issuing out the bonds.
Mr Blackson pointed out the amount of money that has landed in the national purse through the Finance Ministry of Ghana during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If Ghana received that much money for COVID, why did they touch our euro bonds? Why did they use people’s life savings? We still need answers,” Michael Blackson concluded.
